Question: Is all entrepreneurship “social entrepreneurship” ?

David Bornstein and Susan Davis tackle this question in their book, Social Entrepreneurship: What Everyone Needs to Know.

Some people contend that all entrepreneurs are social entrepreneurs because they create value for society. Others of us maintain that there are good reasons to draw a distinction between “entrepreneurship” and “social entrepreneurship” and that we need both.
