Wow! We are honored to be listed among Fast Company Magazine’s “51 bold ideas and brilliant urbanites helping to build the cities of America’s future” in the May, 2011 edition.

In their feature, “The United States of Innovation: 50 Heroes from 50 States,” Fast Company highlighted one innovative urban project or idea from each of the 50 states plus the District of Columbia. About Portland State’s Social Innovation Incubator they said:

“OREGON: Portland. Cindy Cooper, Portland State University Social Innovation Incubator. Tech has incubators, but not-for-profits and social enterprises? Started last year by Cooper, the SII features a Circuit Program that provides six months of startup assistance to five new social entrepreneurs each year.”
